The MSU Libraries in conjunction with the University of Mississippi and the University of Mississippi Medical School is now providing perpetual online access to the backfiles (first issue through 1994) of 890 Elsevier journals. Some of the subjects covered include agriculture, biological sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, medicine, molecular biology, neuroscience, general science and psychology. The Libraries’ Elsevier Science Direct subscription continues to provide access to over 2,000 journals with full text access from 1995 to the present.

The titles are discoverable through the Library’s EBSCO Discovery Service and will soon be available through the online catalog.

As with all usage of online resources provided by the MSU Libraries, it is best to access these resources through the Library website or by using the MSU virtual private network(VPN). This is especially true when using the Library resources from off campus.
