Starting on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, there will be a Librarian on the Loose in Lloyd-Ricks-Watson. LaDonne Delgado, Professor and Coordinator of Collection Development and Special Projects at the MSU Libraries, will be holding office hours from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. in the School of Human Sciences Resource Library, Room 26 3 (beside the office of Dr. Charles Freeman).
"This is an expansion of the MSU Libraries' Liaison Program which has been in place for many years and assists the faculty, staff, and students of all departments across campus."stated Delgado.
Frances Coleman, Dean of Libraries added "This new component to our Liaison Program serves as our pilot project of embedding a librarian into a department or school and, if successful, the Libraries plan to embed more liaisons in future semesters."
If you are a faculty, staff, or student in the MSU School of Human Sciences, visit Mrs. Delgado on Wednesdays and she will assist you with your library and research needs; facilitate library instruction sessions in your classes or meetings; encourage library assignments in your courses; let you know about the Libraries' new resources and services; and answer all of your information questions.
