Mississippi State University Libraries is proud to announce that Reference Librarian Greta Wood has been asked to serve on the 75th Anniversary Task Force for the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). This committee will be tasked with planning a variety of ways for ACRL members and the higher education community to celebrate all the great work ACRL has achieved – and prepare for greater achievements in the future.

Greta Wood joined Mississippi State University Libraries in June of 2011 as Assistant Professor/Instructional Services Librarian. Ms. Wood is a 2007 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, obtaining her MLIS, and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtaining a MA in English. Ms. Wood also holds a BA in English with minors in anthropology and Women’s Studies from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
