Library News

Camtasia Studio 6 is a screen video capturing software that allows you to capture whatever is on your screen and create professional tutorials and presentations. Camtasia allows you to capture and edit your presentations, recording movement, sound and more.

The Instructional Media Center, located in the Information Mall on the second floor of Mitchell Memorial Library, is proud to announce the addition for Camtasia Studio 6 to its multimedia lab. The powerful software is available on computers 5, 6, 7 and 8 - and any MSU student, faculty or staff member are welcome to use this program during the lab's open hours.

Camtasia allows users to record all of, or just a portion of, their computer screen; record voice narration; record a Power Point presentation; record a video; record mouse clicks and keystrokes; and more. The software program will also let you add visual effects and zoom in and out. And it also allows you to add time stamps; add text notes and so much more. For more information on the capabilities of Camtasia visit http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp.

Camtasia is great for tutorials, job training and much more.
