In October, Mississippi State University Libraries’ Library Links newsletter was named Best Newsletter Submitted by a Library Group by the Mississippi Library Association at its annual convention in Hattiesburg.
Chosen for the award by the MLA Public Relations Awards Committee, Library Links is a publication for MSU’s students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends throughout the state, including the libraries and patrons of the Golden Triangle Regional Library Consortium. Library Links, available both in print and via the Libraries’ website, is published by MSU Libraries in order to share news of special events, services, workshops, research, and other information for the purposes of creating and maintaining links between the Libraries and its constituents.
“The Library Links co-editors and the other Libraries faculty and staff who contribute to the overall newsletter are to be complimented for their outstanding work and the receipt of this award,” said Frances Coleman, Dean of MSU Libraries.
