The Graphic Novels in Education Research Guide (http://guides.library.msstate.edu/graphicnovels) is a resource for faculty, staff and students who are interested in using the graphic novel format in the classroom, are looking for specific information on a novel, or simply want to know more about graphic novels, comics, manga and other "illustrated narratives." The guide includes a featured graphic novel each month from MSU's collections, links to online resources including reviews and lesson plans, links to journals that publish regular reviews as well as current research on the format and its uses, and print resources that discuss graphic novels in education, literacy programs and libraries. For more information on the guide and graphic novels in MSU's collections, contact Instructional Services librarian Elizabeth Downey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
