Library News

Mississippi State University Libraries, along with the libraries at the University of Mississippi and the University of Southern Mississippi, are pleased to announce the addition of a new database to its ever-expanding lineup of electronic resources. Computers & Applied Sciences Complete, an EBSCO database, contains active indexing for over 1,100 applied science journals and active full text for over 500 applied science journals—more than 175 of which are journals not found in other EBSCO databases.

Computers & Applied Sciences Complete covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. While containing collected knowledge on traditional engineering research, it also acts as a resource for research revolving around new technologies. Subject areas include the engineering disciplines, computer theory and systems, new technologies, and social and professional topics.

In addition, this database will allow MSU Libraries access to more than fifty new titles, including:

  • Control and Intelligent Systems
  • Information Professional
  • International Journal of Applied Mathematical Sciences
  • International Journal of Computational Intelligence Research
  • Journal of Applied Functional Analysis
  • Mobile Information Systems
  • Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing
