Professor Deborah Lee has been appointed as an Editorial Advisor to the international journal Evidence Based Library and Information Practice or EBLIP. EBLIP is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published by the University of Alberta and governed by the Evidence Based Librarianship Interest Group of the Canadian Library Association. EBLIP publishes original research and commentary on evidence-based library and information practices.The journal is also co-sponsoring the 4th International Evidence-based Library & Information Practice Conference, to be hosted by the University of North Carolina in 2007.
Lee is Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Library Instructional Services program at the MSU Libraries and also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. She has published over 30 articles covering issues related to marketing and economics in academic libraries and has created over 20 presentations on a wide variety of topics related to academic libraries. In addition to serving on the editorial board of EBLIP, she serves on the advisory board of InfoSci-Online and as a member of the editorial board of The Journal of Economics and Finance Education.
