STARKVILLE – Local author Kathryn L. Hayes will be on-hand in the John Grisham Room of Mitchell Memorial Library to autograph copies of her newly published book, From My Heart to His: A Collection of Prayers.

Hayes, a Mississippi State University graduate and wife of MSU Vice-President for Finance and Administration Ray Hayes, shares honestly and openly her prayer journal and allows readers to experience her prayers in their own hearts. Maxie D. Dunham, Chancellor of Asbury Theological Seminary, says that Hayes “has been blessed with the gift of the heart…her prayers will be like one beggar telling another beggar where to get bread.”

Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Hayes has worked in Development at MSU and most recently has served as Director of Development at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Hayes has spoken at numerous events and conferences and led many workshops and retreats.

Copies of From My Heart to His: A Collection of Prayers will be available for purchase at the book signing, beginning at 3:30 pm on Feb. 17th.
