Connect your laptop or mobile device wirelessly to the campus network from anywhere in Mitchell Memorial Library, College of Architecture, Art and Design Library, and College of Veterinary Medicine Library.
Guests of the University can obtain a temporary password for MSU's wireless network at any public service desk.
Connect your laptop to one of the ethernet ports in Mitchell Memorial Library's Educational Resources Collection on the second floor to connect to MSU's wired network. The ports are located on the four columns and are marked with an orange sticker. No username or password is necessary. If you do not have an ethernet cable, you can check one out at the Access Services Desk.
When you are not on campus, you can still access all MSU Libraries' resources through our website. You will be prompted to enter your NetID/NetPassword when you first select a protected resource, but you will not need to do so again during the same session.
You may also use MSU's VPN (virtual private network) service, which configures your computer so that it appears to be connected to the MSU network as if you were on campus.
