Connect to the MSU Network

Connect your laptop or mobile device wirelessly to the campus network from anywhere in Mitchell Memorial Library, College of Architecture, Art and Design Library, and College of Veterinary Medicine Library.

Guests of the University can obtain a temporary password for MSU's wireless network at any public service desk.

Connect your laptop to one of the ethernet ports in Mitchell Memorial Library's Educational Resources Collection on the second floor to connect to MSU's wired network. The ports are located on the four columns and are marked with an orange sticker. No username or password is necessary. If you do not have an ethernet cable, you can check one out at the Access Services Desk.

Be sure to start all searches from the MSU Libraries homepage and login when prompted. This will ensure that you see items that you can access and will be authenticated to use. If you are still unable to access these items, you can try the MSU VPN (see VPN installation and usage instructions). If you continue to have issues accessing the items you need, please Ask A Librarian for assistance.
