History

Apollo 11 VR: Apollo 11 VR is the story of the greatest journey ever taken by humankind. This VR experience is a recreation of the events which took place between July 16th and July 24th 1969. Now for the first time ever you get to experience this historic event through the eyes of those who lived through it.

Nefertari: For the first time ever, step inside Nefertari's tomb and immerse yourself in the story of its art, history, construction, and mythology through interactive elements.

Titanic VR: Witness the sinking of RMS Titanic. Explore the shipwreck. Titanic VR is a diving simulator and immersive interactive story. With over 6 hours of game-play Titanic VR you will leave with a greater understanding of the historic tragedy that unfolded in 1912.

I Am A Man: The “I Am A Man VR Experience” gives people an experience of history in a way that provides a better and more personal understanding of the struggles of these marginalized people. The VR experience allows one to literally walk in the shoes of the people who fought for freedom and equality during the civil rights era. Most importantly, this project gives users a deeper awareness of their struggle. Using historical film and photographs, along with voice narrations of actual Civil Rights participants, the project falls along the lines of a new type of interactive-documentary experience.

Engineering/Building

Blocks by Google: Blocks lets you easily create 3D objects in virtual reality, no matter your modelling experience. Using six simple tools, you can bring your applications to life, create a volumetric masterpiece, or simply let your imagination run wild.

Fantastic Contraption: A surreal building game for VR. Create life-sized contraptions as tall as you can reach, then send them whirling, flinging, and trundling off to solve puzzles on the other side of a floating island. There are no right or wrong solutions, so bring your creativity.

Medium: Medium is an immersive VR experience that lets you sculpt, model, paint, and create tangible objects in a VR environment. With Medium, you can create expressive works of art, whether you're a total beginner, aspiring creative, or professional artist. Oculus Medium uses Touch controllers to enable authentic hand gestures and movement for a natural, tactile experience.
