The Digital Media Center is home to a maker space that is part of the University’s Factory, which is a collection of maker spaces that provides students with access to collaborative work areas and tools meant to fuel creativity and innovation. The Digital Media Center’s maker space offers 3D printing, 3D scanning, laminating, cutting tools and more. In the future, the space will also offer laser cutters, engravers, vinyl printers, and more.
The Digital Media Center offers an open space with numerous large tables, café tables, comfortable couches and chairs, café-style charging stations, and computer stations perfect for group study, collaboration, and project work. This is not a quiet area, but is a great place to study, create, and learn.
